The Portrait Project | Weeks 182-183

I'm officially all caught up now with the Portrait Project-- for now ;-) 

Week 182
This week we had a fun time with some of our church friends for the Fourth of July- both boys enjoyed sparkers (D liked to imagine his was a rocket ship blasting off) and Ruby Scout enjoyed watermelon!

Week 183
Last week, we got out of town for a couple of days to enjoy some lake time!  The boys caught their first fish and Ruby Scout loved finding sticks!  All the kiddos enjoyed getting into the lake with their daddy and playing in the mud :)

The Portrait Project | Weeks 178-181 (June)

Weeks 178
D enjoyed spending time with our neighbor's new puppy, Teddy got a new bike in celebration of his fourth birthday, Ruby Scout found a new love: spoons, and the boys had fun doing "tricks" on Ruby Scout's crib when she wakes up in the mornings.  

Weeks 179
The boys had fun wrestling their daddy before bed, Ruby Scout now walks around with her bottle and blanket before bedtime, and Ruby Scout didn't appreciate Daddy wrestling her brothers. 

Weeks 180
D had his surgery this week, Teddy expressed his concern while eating our last hurrah ice cream before D had his surgery, Ruby Scout enjoyed a little sprinkler time and the kids learned the sprinkler could be turned into a weapon :)

Weeks 181
A couple of sweet people got Daniel some Legos to play with while he was recovering and the boys spent hours playing with them, Ruby Scout enjoyed some bonding time with Mops while she was in town and the kiddos got to show off their guns in their official Mops picture :)

The Portrait Project | Weeks 173-177 (May)

I am so behind with the Portrait Project it's not even funny, so I'll slowly work on going through the photos and posting them month-by-month to be more digestible for you ;-)

Week 173
Daniel continued to enjoy playing soccer, Teddy wore Daniel's old jersey to all of Daniel's soccer games, Ruby Scout started to walk (!!!), and this photo off all three is a good sample of how taking a group picture goes these days :D 

Week 174
D was busy with school and things were getting hectic, so I don't have a photo of D this week (bad mom!), Teddy enjoyed his field day at co-op, Ruby Scout enjoyed the mini trampoline at field day, and the kiddos were allowed to actually take a bath together because Ruby Scout is able to hold her own now ;-)

Week 175
We took the boys on a special day out on a train and Ruby Scout enjoyed a little sun bathing.  

Week 176
Daniel had his kindergarten graduation, Teddy's new habit is to get a baggie of cereal and his milk cup each morning and watch "Blaze", and Ruby Scout attempted to wear her baseball hat-- it didn't last super long ;-) 

Week 177
D got to enjoy The Peach Truck's delicious peaches, Teddy turned four, Ruby Scout enjoyed an outdoor bubble bath and the kiddos all had fun playing in the baby pool and mud :D
