The Portrait Project | Weeks 283-312

Well, it happened again, I let half a year go by since last posting images from my Portrait Project. The second half of the year was just as crazy as the first half— maybe a tad bit crazier if that’s possible! So, here, I present to you the second abridged version of the Portrait Project thus finishing off 2019. Thanks for following our journey through 2019- I hope you all have a blessed 2020!

Week 283
Birdie finally got to wear her Easter outfit to church.

Week 285
The kids had a blast at a Nashville Sounds baseball game.

Week 286
We got to spend a few days in Florida and the kids loved getting to play in the ocean and sand :)

Week 287
The kids were sweet and complied with mom’s request to take pictures of them while at the beach :)

Week 288
The kids thoroughly enjoyed our neighborhood festivities for the Fourth of July & I took a picture of Ruby Scout which made her look 15.

Week 290
Birdie started solid foods!

Week 291
Birdie started sleeping in a sleep suit and she looked like an adorable little sumo wrestler.

Week 293
The boys went back to school, Ruby Scout settled in to her routine of walking to the bus stop in the afternoon with her coffee and baby, Birdie started to trying to scoot around but wasn’t quite crawling yet, & we took the kids to the Williamson County Fair.

Week 294
Ruby Scout started pre-K and I took Birdie’s 7 month pictures.

Week 295
The boys started soccer and we all entertained ourselves during their games.

Week 298
Birdie turned 8 months.

Week 302
Birdie turned 9 months :)

Week 303
We took our yearly trip to Jackson’s Orchard & Ruby Scout had her first “school” picture- which she insisted wearing her “Jack” dress for.

Week 304
The kids enjoyed playing out in the rain and found a muddy puddle to go jumping in… never mind that we’ll have to plant grass there in the spring :-/

Week 305
The kids chose a Pokemon theme for their Halloween costumes this year- Daniel was Charizard, Teddy was Ash, Ruby Scout was Pikachu & Birdie was Jiggly Puff.

Week 306
Teddy has to read in the afternoons and most days he perches up on the counter while I start dinner and reads to me & Birdie started to pull up and stand in her crib.

Week 307
We got a tad bit of snow and Ruby Scout was really excited to go out in it and Birdie turned 10 months.

Week 308
Birdie enjoyed her first Thanksgiving.

Week 309
Birdie’s got one tooth on top and two on the bottom which causes her to have an adorable crooked grin :)

Week 310
Birdie turned 11 months and still loves her Big Bird!

Week 311
We took the kids to North Carolina and Gatlinburg to ride the Polar Express and explore the Smokies… their favorite part of the trip was all the treats they got to eat- ha!

Week 312
Ruby Scout enjoyed new dress-up clothes she got for Christmas— here she’s eating breakfast as a mermaid princess super hero :)
