This last week was Daniel's 5th birthday! He was super excited to get his "big-boy" bike and Teddy has enjoyed getting to play with the scooter more-- despite it only being in our garage due to rain :)
YIKES! It's been over a month since I last updated the Portrait Project! I was a slacker the first week of January and only took a pic of the boys together (with their friend, Nora) but other than that I've been good about taking the photos, just not posting them :) Over the last five weeks, we celebrated New Years, perfected playing with our Christmas toys, moved into our new house, enjoyed our first snow, enjoyed some 70* weather, started potty training Teddy & have been quarantined due to a tummy bug- lots of fun, right?
So, I totally thought I posted last week's photos until today when I went to post this week's photos-- oops! The week of Christmas was ridiculously warm and beautiful, so we took advantage of the weather and went to the park! This last week, we traveled to Mississippi for our yearly visit with our good friends who live there. They have lots of room to run and play and, again, the weather was so nice, we had to take advantage and run and splash in mud-puddles! They also enjoyed getting to play with their present- a new scooter! Teddy needed a little help from D, which he was more than willing to give :) It's hard to believe that this concludes my second full year of the Portrait Project! It's crazy to see how much the boys have changed and how their friendship has evolved over the years- I can't wait to see what this next year has in store! Happy New Year, friends! <3
