The Portrait Project | Week Eighty-Four

Last week week we got to go to the fair!  Daniel's favorite part was getting to ride on a tractor- he didn't want to get off!  Teddy suddenly decided to try on his flip-flops that have been sitting in the back of his closet the last 6 months and fell in love with them... he cried for 30 minutes because he had to wear tennis shoes to the fair... :-/  The whole week he strutted around in them like he was the coolest kid ever :) Since Teddy had flip-flops, of course, Daniel needed a pair and the boys enjoyed "cheersing" their flip-flops every chance they got!

The Portrait Project | Week Eighty-Three

This week the boys got a big surprise- Lord willing, they'll be getting a new brother or sister in early March!  Mom is only nine weeks along, so prayers are much appreciated :)  D is VERY excited- he has given the baby lots of kisses and talks to it every chance he gets... he even put the ultrasound photo right next to his bed.  Teddy likes babies, so he's naively happy about the whole thing- we'll see how he feels the longer time goes by :)

The Portrait Project | Weeks Eighty-One & Eighty-Two

Lots of things have happened for the Johnsons the last couple of week, which is why I've been sluggish in posting the last couple of weeks.  Last week we listed our house and within two days we were under contract, which meant lots of house cleaning/prepping and trying to entertain ourselves without making messes (easier said than done).  Daniel and Teddy enjoyed getting to race outside, Teddy discovered Daniel's 3D goggles, Daniel has been having fun creating a launch pad for his airplane/space shuttle, Teddy woke up with some awesome bed-head and the boys have continued to hide under our dining room table any time it's time to go anywhere :)
